Type: temple
Listener: Devī (explicit vocative) and, by extension, the pilgrim audience
Scene: Śiva’s presence is shown descending as a column of light into the liṅga; the devotee stands with folded hands, then performs orderly pūjā—pouring water/milk, offering bilva leaves, lighting lamps—while the goddess is addressed as witness.
Bhakti sanctifies worship and makes the divine presence accessible; proper ritual complements devotion.
The Liṅga established in Prabhāsa Kṣetra (Siddhaliṅga narrative context).
Yathā-vidhi pūjā—worship according to prescribed procedure, grounded in devotion.
