Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 4
तस्मात्पूर्वेण देवेशि योजनैकेन निर्मलम् । त्रितकूपेति विख्यातं सर्वपातकनाशनम् । सर्वेषां देवि तीर्थानां यत्तत्रैव व्यवस्थितिः
tasmātpūrveṇa deveśi yojanaikena nirmalam | tritakūpeti vikhyātaṃ sarvapātakanāśanam | sarveṣāṃ devi tīrthānāṃ yattatraiva vyavasthitiḥ
De là, vers l’est, ô Souveraine des dieux, à une distance d’un yojana, se trouve un lieu pur, renommé Tritakūpa, destructeur de tous les péchés. Ô Déesse, on dit que c’est là même que la puissance sacrée de tous les tīrthas est rassemblée et établie.
