Tirtha: Goṣpada (within Prabhāsa-kṣetra)
Type: kund
Scene: A devotee at Goṣpada in Prabhāsa: feet touching the sacred water at the bank, then offering a cupped handful (añjali) toward the Pitṛs; the ancestors appear satisfied, receiving the offering as luminous droplets.
A small act done at a great tīrtha—especially water-offerings for ancestors—yields immense spiritual benefit.
Goṣpada, the excellent tīrtha within Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
Jalāñjali/tarpaṇa—offering a handful of water to the Pitṛs at Goṣpada tīrtha in Prabhāsa.
