पद्भ्यामपि जलं स्पृष्ट्वा अस्मभ्यं किं न दास्यति । अपि स्यात्स कुलेऽस्माकं यो नो दद्याज्जलांजलिम् । प्रभासक्षेत्रमासाद्य गोष्पदे तीर्थ उत्तमे
padbhyāmapi jalaṃ spṛṣṭvā asmabhyaṃ kiṃ na dāsyati | api syātsa kule'smākaṃ yo no dadyājjalāṃjalim | prabhāsakṣetramāsādya goṣpade tīrtha uttame
Ne fût-ce qu’en effleurant l’eau de ses pieds, que ne nous donnerait-il pas, à nous les Pitṛ (ancêtres) ? Puissions-nous avoir dans notre lignée quelqu’un qui nous offre une poignée d’eau (jalāñjali), après être parvenu à Prabhāsa-kṣetra, à Goṣpada, le tīrtha suprême.
