तत्र श्राद्धं नरः कृत्वा गयाकोटिगुणं फलम् । लभते नाऽत्र सन्देहः सोमामा यदि जायते

Transliteration

tatra śrāddhaṃ naraḥ kṛtvā gayākoṭiguṇaṃ phalam | labhate nā'tra sandehaḥ somāmā yadi jāyate

Translation

Celui qui accomplit là le śrāddha obtient un fruit un crore de fois supérieur à celui de Gayā ; il n’y a là aucun doute, surtout lorsque survient la Somāmāvāsyā, la nouvelle lune tombant un lundi.
