Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 82

संस्काराः पिप्पलादस्य वेदोक्ता वेद पारगैः । षडंगोपांगसंयुक्ता वेदास्तेन समुद्धृताः । तदाश्रमनिवासिभ्यो मुनिभ्यश्च सुपुष्कलाः

saṃskārāḥ pippalādasya vedoktā veda pāragaiḥ | ṣaḍaṃgopāṃgasaṃyuktā vedāstena samuddhṛtāḥ | tadāśramanivāsibhyo munibhyaśca supuṣkalāḥ

Pour Pippalāda, les sages connaisseurs du Veda accomplirent les saṃskāra prescrits par le Veda. Pourvu des six Vedāṅga et des disciplines annexes, il maîtrisa les Veda et les fit resplendir; et pour les munis demeurant dans cet āśrama, il devint d’un très grand bienfait.
