Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (context for Unnata kathā)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva begins the narration with a compassionate, authoritative teaching gesture; Pārvatī listens attentively; a subtle aura suggests the sin-destroying potency of the forthcoming kathā.
Śravaṇa (devotional hearing) of a tīrtha-māhātmya is presented as a purifying dharma that removes sin and restores spiritual clarity.
The verse introduces a Prabhāsa-kṣetra māhātmya narrative that will specify Unnata/Mahodaya and related sacred markers.
Hearing (śravaṇa) the sacred account is itself the stated practice and source of merit.
