सूर्य उवाच । अधुना निर्मलो देहस्तव सांब भविष्यति इहागत्य नरो यस्तु सप्तम्यां रविवासरे । उपवासपरो भूत्वा रात्रौ जागरणे स्थितः

Transliteration

sūrya uvāca | adhunā nirmalo dehastava sāṃba bhaviṣyati ihāgatya naro yastu saptamyāṃ ravivāsare | upavāsaparo bhūtvā rātrau jāgaraṇe sthitaḥ

Translation

Sūrya dit : À présent, ô Sāmba, ton corps deviendra sans tache. Et l’homme qui viendra ici le septième jour lunaire (Saptamī) tombant un dimanche, observant le jeûne et demeurant en veille toute la nuit—
