पर्जन्योऽहं महाभागे त्वं वृष्टिः परमेश्वरि । अहं संवत्सरो देवि त्वमृतुः परिकीर्त्तिता
parjanyo'haṃ mahābhāge tvaṃ vṛṣṭiḥ parameśvari | ahaṃ saṃvatsaro devi tvamṛtuḥ parikīrttitā
Ô très fortunée, je suis Parjanya, le nuage porteur de pluie ; et toi, ô Déesse suprême, tu es la pluie elle-même. Je suis l’année, ô Devī ; et toi, l’on te proclame les saisons.
