देवेन्द्रवन्द्योद्धर मामनाथं शम्भो कृपाकारुणिकः किल त्वम् । दुःखाऽर्णवे मग्नमुमेश दीनं समुद्धर त्वं भव शंकरोऽसि
devendravandyoddhara māmanāthaṃ śambho kṛpākāruṇikaḥ kila tvam | duḥkhā'rṇave magnamumeśa dīnaṃ samuddhara tvaṃ bhava śaṃkaro'si
Ô Śambhu, vénéré même par Indra, relève-moi, moi qui suis sans refuge. En vérité, Tu es la compassion et la miséricorde mêmes. Ô Seigneur d’Umā, je suis englouti dans l’océan de la peine, misérable : retire-moi, car Tu es Śaṅkara, dispensateur d’auspice.
