Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 93

भविष्यति नृणां लोके तव सौख्यविवर्द्धनम् । पितॄणां तव तोयेन यः करिष्यति तर्पणम् । पूर्वोक्तेन विधानेन तस्य पुण्यफलं शृणु

Transliteration

bhaviṣyati nṛṇāṃ loke tava saukhyavivarddhanam | pitṝṇāṃ tava toyena yaḥ kariṣyati tarpaṇam | pūrvoktena vidhānena tasya puṇyaphalaṃ śṛṇu

Translation

Dans le monde des hommes, cela accroîtra ton bonheur. Quiconque, avec tes eaux, accomplit la tarpaṇa pour les Pitṛs selon le rite énoncé plus haut—écoute maintenant le fruit de mérite qu’il obtient.
