Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 15

एवं स्नात्वा विधानेन दत्त्वाऽर्घ्यं च महोदधौ । संपूज्य पुष्पगंधैश्च वस्त्रैः पुण्यानुलेपनैः

evaṃ snātvā vidhānena dattvā'rghyaṃ ca mahodadhau | saṃpūjya puṣpagaṃdhaiśca vastraiḥ puṇyānulepanaiḥ

Ainsi, après s’être baigné selon la règle et avoir offert l’arghya au grand océan, qu’on l’honore pleinement par des fleurs, des parfums, des étoffes et des onguents propices.
