Ṛṣayaḥ (Sages)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śunomukha
Scene: A circle of sages respond with measured reproach, pointing to missing lotus-stalks in a pond; their faces show restrained disappointment rather than anger, emphasizing dharmic correction.
Even when one speaks of dharma, wrongdoing (like theft) must be acknowledged and addressed truthfully.
The broader setting is Prabhāsakṣetra, within the Ṛṣitīrtha Māhātmya context.
No explicit ritual is prescribed in this verse; it frames a moral issue (theft) within a dharma dialogue.
