चंडोवाच । उग्रात्प्रतिग्रहाद्यस्माद्बिभ्यत्येते महेश्वराः । बलीयांसो दुर्बलवत्तथा चैव बिभेम्यहम्
caṃḍovāca | ugrātpratigrahādyasmādbibhyatyete maheśvarāḥ | balīyāṃso durbalavattathā caiva bibhemyaham
Caṇḍa dit : «À cause d’une acceptation farouche (et impropre) des dons, même ces puissants dévots de Maheśvara éprouvent de la crainte. Bien que forts, ils tremblent comme des faibles ; moi aussi, j’ai peur.»
