सूची सूत्र तथा वस्त्रे समानयति सूचिका । तद्वत्संसारसूत्रस्य तृष्णा सूची विधीयते

sūcī sūtra tathā vastre samānayati sūcikā | tadvatsaṃsārasūtrasya tṛṣṇā sūcī vidhīyate

De même que l’aiguille rapproche le fil et l’étoffe, ainsi la soif du désir (tṛṣṇā) est établie comme l’aiguille qui coud le fil du saṃsāra.
