Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced from Prabhāsa-khaṇḍa māhātmya narration style)
Tirtha: Amoghāyuta-Īśvara (within Prabhāsa-kṣetra)
Type: temple
Scene: A vrata-observer on a Monday stands before Amoghāyuta-Īśvara’s liṅga, offering arghya with a banana, adorning with marubaka blossoms; night falls and the devotee drinks only milk, with a sense of disciplined devotion.
Simple, disciplined Monday worship of Śiva—done with devotion and restraint—can yield sacrificial-level merit, showing bhakti’s supremacy in Kali-yuga practice.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra (Prabhāsakṣetra), where the Lord is praised here as Amoghāyuta-īśvara.
On the eighth Monday: offer arghya with a banana fruit, worship with marubaka, and take only milk at night.
