न देवी न च गन्धर्वी नासुरी न च पन्नगी । यादृग्रूपा वरारोहा तादृशी सा व्यजायत
na devī na ca gandharvī nāsurī na ca pannagī | yādṛgrūpā varārohā tādṛśī sā vyajāyata
Elle n’était ni déesse, ni jeune gandharvī, ni asurī, ni femme-serpent. Quelle que fût la forme que l’on puisse concevoir comme beauté suprême, telle, exactement telle, naquit cette noble dame.
