एतदेव तु विज्ञेयं ग्रहणे चोत्तरायणे । संक्रांतिदिनच्छिद्रेषु षडशीतिमुखेषु च

etadeva tu vijñeyaṃ grahaṇe cottarāyaṇe | saṃkrāṃtidinacchidreṣu ṣaḍaśītimukheṣu ca

Ce même principe doit être compris comme s’appliquant aussi lors des éclipses, au temps de la marche du Soleil vers le nord (Uttarāyaṇa), aux jours de Saṅkrānti et à leurs instants critiques de passage, ainsi qu’aux moments propices dits « six et quatre-vingt-six ».
