देवत्वं च मया प्राप्तं समर्थोऽहं द्विजोत्तम । वरं ददामि ते विप्र गृहाण त्वं वरं शुभम्
devatvaṃ ca mayā prāptaṃ samartho'haṃ dvijottama | varaṃ dadāmi te vipra gṛhāṇa tvaṃ varaṃ śubham
«J’ai atteint l’état divin et je suis désormais investi de puissance, ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés. Ô brāhmane, je t’accorde une grâce : reçois de moi ce don de bon augure.»
