प्रेता ऊचुः । वैश्वदेवोद्भवा यत्र धूमवर्तिः प्रदृश्यते । तस्मिन्गेहे न चास्माकं प्रवेशो विद्यते द्विज
pretā ūcuḥ | vaiśvadevodbhavā yatra dhūmavartiḥ pradṛśyate | tasmingehe na cāsmākaṃ praveśo vidyate dvija
Les prétas dirent : Ô deux-fois-né, dans la maison où l’on voit la colonne de fumée issue de l’offrande du Vaiśvadeva, nous n’avons point d’entrée.
