तं दृष्ट्वा पर्वतं रम्यं दृष्ट्वा चैव महोदधिम् । प्रदक्षिणं ततश्चक्रे सप्तकृत्वो निशाकरः । गिरेः प्रदक्षिणां कृत्वा गतो यत्र महेश्वरः
taṃ dṛṣṭvā parvataṃ ramyaṃ dṛṣṭvā caiva mahodadhim | pradakṣiṇaṃ tataścakre saptakṛtvo niśākaraḥ | gireḥ pradakṣiṇāṃ kṛtvā gato yatra maheśvaraḥ
Voyant cette montagne ravissante et contemplant aussi le grand océan, Niśākara (la Lune) accomplit la pradakṣiṇā sept fois. Ayant achevé la circumambulation du mont, il se rendit là où se tenait Maheśvara.
