Tirtha: Gautameśvara (with adjacent river snāna)
Type: temple
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: At dawn by the river, a pilgrim completes snāna, then offers a kapilā cow in dāna, and finally performs orderly liṅga-pūjā at Gautameśvara with bilva leaves and lamps; the scene conveys purification and relief.
Purification is achieved through a dharmic triad—snāna, dāna, and pūjā—performed at a sanctified kṣetra with proper observance.

Bathe in the river as prescribed, donate a kapilā cow, and worship the Śiva-liṅga according to rite to be freed from pañca-pātaka.
