guruṃ hatvā purā devi gautamaḥ pāpaduḥkhitaḥ | tatra liṃgaṃ pratiṣṭhāpya tasmātpāpādvyamucyata
Autrefois, ô Déesse, Gautama, accablé par la souffrance du péché, tua son guru. Là, il établit un liṅga, et par cela même il fut délivré de ce péché.
