पितॄन्हत्वा सुमाली च तमाराधितवान्पुरा । सोऽपि मुक्तोऽभवद्देवि पापात्पितृवधोद्भवात्
pitṝnhatvā sumālī ca tamārādhitavānpurā | so'pi mukto'bhavaddevi pāpātpitṛvadhodbhavāt
Et Sumālī aussi—qui jadis avait tué ses ancêtres—l’adora (Śiva) avec dévotion. Lui aussi, ô Déesse, fut délivré du péché né du meurtre des aïeux.
