वैश्वदेवेन हीना ये हीनाश्चातिथ्यतोऽपि ये । कर्मणा सर्ववृषला वेदयुक्ता ह्यपि द्विजाः

Transliteration

vaiśvadevena hīnā ye hīnāścātithyato'pi ye | karmaṇā sarvavṛṣalā vedayuktā hyapi dvijāḥ

Translation

Ceux qui négligent l’offrande de Vaiśvadeva et ceux qui manquent aussi à l’hospitalité envers l’hôte—par leur conduite, ils sont tout entiers comme des vṛṣalas (gens vils), même s’ils sont « deux-fois-nés » et même s’ils possèdent le savoir védique.
