सप्तमोऽयं महादेवि वर्ततेऽमृतसंभवः । दक्षशापेन यो देवि संक्षीणो दृश्यतेऽधुना
saptamo'yaṃ mahādevi vartate'mṛtasaṃbhavaḥ | dakṣaśāpena yo devi saṃkṣīṇo dṛśyate'dhunā
Ô Mahādevī, voici le septième : la Lune, née de l’amṛta, poursuit à présent sa course ; et par la malédiction de Dakṣa, ô Devī, on la voit aujourd’hui décroissante.
