बिंबेनांतरितो देवि आदित्यग्रहणं हि तत् । न कश्चिद्ग्रसितुं शक्त आदित्यो दहति ध्रुवम्
biṃbenāṃtarito devi ādityagrahaṇaṃ hi tat | na kaścidgrasituṃ śakta ādityo dahati dhruvam
Ô Déesse, lorsque le Soleil est obscurci par le disque qui s’interpose, on appelle cela « éclipse solaire ». Pourtant nul n’a le pouvoir d’engloutir réellement le Soleil, car Āditya brûle assurément toute opposition.
