ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि यत्ते किंचिन्मनोगतम् । आस्तिकाः श्रद्दधानाश्च भवन्तीति मतिर्मम
īśvara uvāca | śṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi yatte kiṃcinmanogatam | āstikāḥ śraddadhānāśca bhavantīti matirmama
Īśvara dit : « Écoute, ô Devī ; je vais t’expliquer ce qui s’est levé dans ton esprit. Telle est ma conviction : les êtres deviennent pleins de foi et de confiance (dans le Dharma et le sacré). »
