Transliteration

pūrve kalpe svayaṃ bhūtaṃ mahodayamiti śrutam | sa liṃgaṃ devadevasya pratiṣṭhāpyārcayannapi

Translation

Dans un kalpa ancien, on entendit parler d’un liṅga auto-manifesté nommé Mahodaya. Il installa ce liṅga du Deva des devas et l’honora aussi par l’adoration.
