ईश्वर उवाच । प्रकृतित्वान्न पश्यंति सिद्धा ह्येते महातपाः । एवमुक्ता तु गिरिजा देवेदेवेन शूलिना
īśvara uvāca | prakṛtitvānna paśyaṃti siddhā hyete mahātapāḥ | evamuktā tu girijā devedevena śūlinā
Īśvara dit : «Parce que tu demeures en ta forme naturelle (manifestée), ils ne te voient pas ; car ces grands ascètes sont des siddha.» Ainsi, Girijā fut adressée par le Dieu des dieux, le Porteur du trident.
