ईश्वर उवाच । इत्युक्ता ऋषयो देवि लज्जयाऽनतकन्धराः । प्रत्यालोच्य यथान्यायं वसिष्ठं समनूद्वहन्
īśvara uvāca | ityuktā ṛṣayo devi lajjayā'natakandharāḥ | pratyālocya yathānyāyaṃ vasiṣṭhaṃ samanūdvahan
Īśvara dit : «Ainsi interpellés, ô Déesse, les sages baissèrent la tête, saisis de honte. Après avoir délibéré selon ce qui convenait, ils pressèrent Vasiṣṭha d’accepter cette voie.»
