चंडाल उवाच । यद्येवं भवतां कार्यमिदमंगीकृतं धुवम् । तदियं मत्सुता कन्या भवद्भिः परिगृह्यताम्
caṃḍāla uvāca | yadyevaṃ bhavatāṃ kāryamidamaṃgīkṛtaṃ dhuvam | tadiyaṃ matsutā kanyā bhavadbhiḥ parigṛhyatām
Le Caṇḍāla dit : « Si tel est vraiment votre dessein, arrêté et fermement accepté, alors prenez pour épouse cette jeune fille, ma propre fille. »
