Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 66

वर्षार्धं वर्षमेकं वा सिद्धास्ते तत्त्वचारिणः । आश्वयुक्छुक्लपक्षे च मन्वादिष्वष्टकासु च

varṣārdhaṃ varṣamekaṃ vā siddhāste tattvacāriṇaḥ | āśvayukchuklapakṣe ca manvādiṣvaṣṭakāsu ca

Après un demi‑an ou une année entière, ils deviennent des siddha, de vrais pratiquants établis dans le Réel. Cela est tout particulièrement vrai durant la quinzaine claire d’Āśvayuja et aux jours d’Aṣṭakā commençant par Manvādi.
