Transliteration

bāṃdhaveṣu ciraṃ vāso nārīṇāṃ na yaśaskaraḥ | manorathā bāṃdhavānāṃ nāryā bhartṛgṛhe sthitiḥ

Translation

Le long séjour d’une femme parmi ses parents de naissance n’est pas tenu pour source de renom. Le vœu chéri des siens est qu’elle demeure établie dans la maison de son époux.
