Transliteration

tarpayecca pitṝndevānmanuṣyāṃśca yathākramam | tarpayitvā havirdravyaṃ prokṣayitvā ca bhaktitaḥ

Translation

Qu’on offre les libations (tarpaṇa) aux Ancêtres, aux dieux et aux hommes, selon l’ordre prescrit; puis, les ayant satisfaits, qu’on asperge avec dévotion, d’eau sanctifiante, la matière de l’oblation (havis).
