उक्त्वा बाढमिति ब्रह्मा ततः सृष्टौ मनो दधे । ससर्ज मानसात्सद्यः सनकाद्यान्कुमारकान् । उवाच वचनं ब्रह्मा प्रजाः सृजत पुत्रकाः
uktvā bāḍhamiti brahmā tataḥ sṛṣṭau mano dadhe | sasarja mānasātsadyaḥ sanakādyānkumārakān | uvāca vacanaṃ brahmā prajāḥ sṛjata putrakāḥ
Disant : « Qu’il en soit ainsi », Brahmā tourna alors son esprit vers la création. De son mental il produisit aussitôt les jeunes sages, à commencer par Sanaka, et Brahmā leur dit : « Mes fils, créez des êtres. »
