एवं सा गोमती तत्र संजाता सागरंगमा । सर्वपापहरा प्रोक्ता पूर्वगंगेति या श्रुता
evaṃ sā gomatī tatra saṃjātā sāgaraṃgamā | sarvapāpaharā proktā pūrvagaṃgeti yā śrutā
Ainsi la Gomati naquit en ce lieu et devint un fleuve qui va à la mer. On la proclame effaceuse de tous les péchés, et elle est renommée comme la «Gaṅgā de l’Orient».
