प्रह्लाद उवाच । परस्परं वरौ दत्त्वा कृष्णदुर्वाससौ मुदा । ततः प्रभृति विप्रेन्द्रास्तस्मिन्स्थाने ह्यतिष्ठताम् । वरदानमिति प्रोक्तं तत्तीर्थं सर्वकामदम्
prahlāda uvāca | parasparaṃ varau dattvā kṛṣṇadurvāsasau mudā | tataḥ prabhṛti viprendrāstasminsthāne hyatiṣṭhatām | varadānamiti proktaṃ tattīrthaṃ sarvakāmadam
Prahlāda dit : Dans la joie, Kṛṣṇa et Durvāsā se donnèrent mutuellement des grâces ; dès lors, ils demeurèrent en ce lieu même. Ce tīrtha fut nommé « Varadāna » (Don des grâces) et il accomplit tous les désirs.
