Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 26

आराधनीयाः सततं भूदेवा भूतिमीप्सता । प्रकोपनीया नैवैते तत्त्वज्ञा हि तपस्विनः

ārādhanīyāḥ satataṃ bhūdevā bhūtimīpsatā | prakopanīyā naivaite tattvajñā hi tapasvinaḥ

Celui qui recherche prospérité et bon augure doit vénérer sans cesse les “dieux sur la terre”, les brāhmaṇas. Qu’on ne les provoque jamais, car les ascètes qui connaissent la vérité sont de véritables voyants du réel.
