Śiva (Somapति/Someśvara), as implied by the adhyāya’s self-referential statements
Tirtha: Dvārakā (Keśava-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: A stern doctrinal warning: a devotee’s offerings to Śiva are shown as spiritually ‘unsealed’ until Keśava is honored; in the background, a shadowy preta-form symbolizes the consequence of neglect.
Pilgrimage and worship bear full fruit only when centered on Keśava (Kṛṣṇa); otherwise merit is said to become ineffective.
Dvārakā and its Kṛṣṇa-centered sacred practice within the Dvārakā Māhātmya.
Keśava-pūjā (worship of Keśava) is presented as essential for the efficacy of other worship and pilgrimage merit.
