अस्माभिः पालिते देशे कः स्नाति मनुजाधमः । ब्रुवंत इति जघ्नुस्ते जानुभिर्मुष्टिभिस्तथा

asmābhiḥ pālite deśe kaḥ snāti manujādhamaḥ | bruvaṃta iti jaghnuste jānubhirmuṣṭibhistathā

«Dans une terre que nous protégeons, quel homme le plus vil ose se baigner ?»—ainsi criaient-ils, puis ils le frappèrent, le rouant de coups de genoux et de poings.
