Type: kshetra
Listener: Sādhvyaḥ gopyaḥ (virtuous gopīs)
Scene: Kṛṣṇa speaks gently to a group of virtuous women (gopīs), right hand in assurance (abhaya/varada), expressing intimate belonging and constant favor; attendants and coastal Dvārakā ambiance frame the scene.
The Lord declares devotion (bhakti) as the decisive means by which He is ‘grasped’ and by which grace is assured.
The Dvārakā Māhātmya context frames this assurance, preparing for the creation of a new tīrtha near Maya-saras.
No single ritual is prescribed; the verse elevates bhakti as the governing principle behind all sacred acts.
