न जाने किं फलं मेऽद्य देवस्यास्य प्रसादतः । एतस्मात्कारणाच्चाहं नान्यत्किंचित्करोमि भोः
na jāne kiṃ phalaṃ me'dya devasyāsya prasādataḥ | etasmātkāraṇāccāhaṃ nānyatkiṃcitkaromi bhoḥ
«Je ne sais quel fruit m’échoit aujourd’hui par la grâce de cette divinité. C’est pour cette raison même, ô vénérables, que je ne fais rien d’autre.»
Veṇu (the king)
Tirtha: Arbuda-kṣetra prāsāda-devatā
Type: kshetra
Listener: Sages addressed as ‘bhoḥ’ in the verse
Scene: A humble devotee pauses mid-circumambulation, palms joined, eyes lowered, expressing that he seeks no known reward and therefore does nothing but this single act of worship.
Devotion is not a transaction; the devotee relies on the deity’s prasāda rather than calculating outcomes, remaining steadfast in one sanctifying practice.
The Arbuda Khaṇḍa sacred shrine context is upheld as a place where divine favor (prasāda) is tangibly experienced.
The verse underscores exclusive focus on pradakṣiṇā (and refraining from other acts) as a vow-like devotional orientation.
