Transliteration

nārīnāma tapovighnaṃ pūrvaṃ sṛṣṭaṃ svayaṃbhuvā | argalā svargamārgasya sopānaṃ narakasya ca

Translation

La femme, obstacle à l’ascèse, fut créée jadis par Svayambhū (Brahmā) : verrou sur la voie du ciel, et escalier menant à l’enfer.
