ततः कोपपरीतात्मा दूतः प्रोवाच सादरम् । विहस्य जनसंसर्गं दृष्ट्वैकांतेऽपि संस्थिते
tataḥ kopaparītātmā dūtaḥ provāca sādaram | vihasya janasaṃsargaṃ dṛṣṭvaikāṃte'pi saṃsthite
Alors l’envoyé, l’esprit saisi de colère, parla avec une courtoisie de façade ; et, en riant, se moqua de la foule pressée, bien que l’entretien fût dit « en privé ».
