कस्यचित्त्वथ कालस्य ब्राह्मणोऽनेन घातितः । अंतःपुरे निशाकाले प्रविष्टो जारकर्मकृत
kasyacittvatha kālasya brāhmaṇo'nena ghātitaḥ | aṃtaḥpure niśākāle praviṣṭo jārakarmakṛta
«Mais, à un certain moment, un brāhmaṇa fut tué par lui : il était entré de nuit dans l’appartement intérieur du palais, se livrant à une conduite adultère.»
