यस्माद्भेक त्वया मूढ देवेभ्योऽहं निवेदितः । तस्मात्त्वं भविता नूनं विजिह्वोऽत्र धरातले
yasmādbheka tvayā mūḍha devebhyo'haṃ niveditaḥ | tasmāttvaṃ bhavitā nūnaṃ vijihvo'tra dharātale
«Puisque toi, grenouille insensée, tu m’as dénoncé aux dieux, pour cela, assurément, tu deviendras ici, sur la surface de la terre, privée de langue.»
