देवता ऊचुः । अत्र स्थाने महादेवि कोऽस्माकं प्रकरिष्यति । पूजां को वात्र चाहारस्तस्माद्ब्रूहि सुरेश्वरि
devatā ūcuḥ | atra sthāne mahādevi ko'smākaṃ prakariṣyati | pūjāṃ ko vātra cāhārastasmādbrūhi sureśvari
Les divinités dirent : « Ô Grande Déesse, en ce lieu, qui accomplira pour nous le culte ? Et qui y pourvoira à la subsistance ? Aussi, ô Souveraine des dieux, dis‑le nous. »
