इन्द्र उवाच । जानाम्यहं चतुर्वक्त्र स्वं कायं पापसंयुतम् । चिह्नैर्ब्रह्मवधोद्भूतैस्तस्माच्छुद्धिं वदस्व मे
indra uvāca | jānāmyahaṃ caturvaktra svaṃ kāyaṃ pāpasaṃyutam | cihnairbrahmavadhodbhūtaistasmācchuddhiṃ vadasva me
Indra dit : «Ô Toi aux quatre visages, je sais que mon propre corps est souillé de péché, marqué de signes nés du brahma-vadha, le meurtre d’un brahmane. Dis-moi donc la voie de la purification.»
