मुनय ऊचुः । वयं शक्रेण ते यज्ञे समायाताः सुभक्तितः । उल्लंघिता मदोद्रेकात्कृत्वा हास्यं मुहुर्मुहुः
munaya ūcuḥ | vayaṃ śakreṇa te yajñe samāyātāḥ subhaktitaḥ | ullaṃghitā madodrekātkṛtvā hāsyaṃ muhurmuhuḥ
Les sages dirent : «À la demande d’Indra, nous sommes venus à ton yajña avec une dévotion sincère. Mais, saisis par un élan d’orgueil, nous avons maintes fois outrepassé et tourné cela en dérision, encore et encore.»
