अहं त्वां शपथं कृत्वा भक्षयित्वाऽथ वा विषम् । प्रविश्य हव्यवाहं वा करिष्ये प्रत्ययान्वितम्

ahaṃ tvāṃ śapathaṃ kṛtvā bhakṣayitvā'tha vā viṣam | praviśya havyavāhaṃ vā kariṣye pratyayānvitam

Je te ferai croire par un serment : soit en buvant du poison, soit en entrant dans le feu sacré, porteur des offrandes.
